1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WeeBee mobile application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WeeBee ("we," "our," or "us"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use WeeBee, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@weebee.in.

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Update your information to keep it accurate and current
  • Choose a username that complies with our community guidelines (no offensive, impersonating, or misleading names)
  • Not create multiple accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes
  • Not share your account with others or allow others to access your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

4.1 Prohibited Content

  • Post illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or hateful content
  • Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

4.2 Prohibited Activities

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access or manipulate the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Circumvent security features or exploit vulnerabilities
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Collect or harvest user data without consent
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization

4.3 Fair Play

  • Do not spoof GPS location or use location-spoofing tools
  • Do not create fake trips or territories
  • Do not manipulate leaderboards or achievements through cheating
  • Do not harass or target other users

5. Location Services

WeeBee is a location-based service that requires access to your device's location data. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The app collects location data in the background, even when not actively in use
  • Location data is used to enable core features (territory claiming, trip tracking, achievements)
  • You can revoke location permissions in device settings, but this will limit functionality
  • Location data is subject to our Privacy Policy

Safety Notice: WeeBee is designed for entertainment. Do not use the app while driving, operating machinery, or in situations requiring your full attention. Always prioritize safety over gameplay.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 WeeBee's Ownership

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, code, designs, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by WeeBee and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6.2 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create or share through the Service (e.g., profile information, tribe posts). However, by submitting content, you grant WeeBee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and modify your content for purposes of operating and improving the Service.

6.3 Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services for map visualization, backend infrastructure, and other functionality. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 "AS IS" Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE SERVICE.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEEBEE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS (IF ANY).

7.3 Location Accuracy

Location data may be inaccurate due to GPS limitations, network connectivity, or other factors. We are not responsible for inaccurate location data or any consequences arising from it.

8. Subscription and Payments

WeeBee offers optional subscription tiers (Plus, Premium) with additional features:

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through your app store (Google Play, Apple App Store)
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime through your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled by the app store. We do not process refunds directly
  • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice

9. Termination

9.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may delete your account at any time through our account deletion page. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.2 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Pose a security risk to the Service or other users
  • Fail to pay subscription fees (if applicable)

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All licenses granted to you terminate, and you must stop using the Service. Provisions related to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

10.2 Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal legal action, please contact us at support@weebee.in to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We commit to working in good faith to resolve any issues.

11. Miscellaneous

11.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WeeBee regarding the Service.

11.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

11.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor.
