Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the WeeBee app and related services. Please read them carefully — by using WeeBee, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the WeeBee mobile application ("App") or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not be legally prohibited from using the Service

If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Keep your account information up to date
  • Choose a username that does not violate any third-party rights or our guidelines
  • Not create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
  • Not share your account access with others

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately at support@weebee.in.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited Content

You may not post, upload, or share content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or hateful
  • Infringing on any intellectual property rights
  • Containing malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Impersonating any person or entity

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Circumvent security features or access controls
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Collect user data without authorization
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission

Fair Play

To maintain a fair gaming environment, you may not:

  • Use GPS spoofing or location manipulation tools
  • Create fake trips or artificially inflate statistics
  • Manipulate leaderboards through fraudulent means
  • Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
  • Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent ban from the Service.

5. Location Services

The App collects location data in the background, even when not actively in use. This is essential for core features including territory claiming, trip tracking, and leaderboards.

By using the Service, you consent to:

  • Background location collection while the App is installed
  • Processing of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Display of aggregated location statistics to other users

You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. However, this will significantly limit the functionality of the App.

Safety Notice

WeeBee is designed for entertainment purposes. Do not use the App while driving, operating machinery, or in situations requiring your full attention. Always prioritize your safety and the safety of others over in-app activities.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Rights

WeeBee and all associated content, features, software, and designs are owned by WeeBee Technologies Private Limited or its licensors. This includes but is not limited to:

  • The WeeBee name, logo, and branding
  • App design, user interface, and user experience
  • Software code and algorithms
  • Game mechanics and features

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create within the Service. However, by using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service Provided "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEEBEE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR INR 1,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Location Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy of location data. GPS signals can be affected by many factors including weather, buildings, and device capabilities. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in location tracking.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium Features

WeeBee offers optional subscription tiers (Plus and Premium) that provide additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the respective app stores (Apple or Google), not directly by WeeBee. Please contact the app store for refund inquiries.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

9. WeeBee Coins & Rewards Program

Program Overview

WeeBee offers a rewards program where you earn WeeBee Coins through green commute activities (such as walking, running, and metro usage) and redeem them for gift card vouchers from popular brands.

Earning Coins

Coins are earned at fixed rates based on your commute activity (for example, 3 coins per kilometre for metro travel and 1 coin per kilometre for walking or running). Earning is subject to a weekly cap (currently 350 coins) and a lifetime cap (currently 3,000 coins).

Redemption

Coins can be redeemed for gift card vouchers at a rate of 10 coins = ₹1, with a minimum redemption of ₹50 (500 coins). All redemption requests are subject to admin approval. Coins are deducted from your balance immediately upon submitting a redemption request.

Voucher Delivery

Gift card vouchers are fulfilled by a third-party provider (Xoxoday) and are subject to availability and the provider's own terms and conditions.

Non-Transferability

WeeBee Coins cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, or exchanged for cash.

Program Changes

We reserve the right to modify earning rates, caps, the voucher catalog, or terminate the rewards program at any time with reasonable notice.

No Monetary Value

WeeBee Coins have no cash value outside the rewards program and do not constitute currency, stored value, or a financial instrument.

Account Termination

Any unredeemed WeeBee Coins are forfeited upon account deletion or termination.

Eligibility

Rewards program availability may vary by region. Certain features may require corporate email verification.

10. Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by visiting our account deletion page. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Pose a security risk to the Service or other users
  • Have unpaid fees (for premium subscriptions)

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution will survive termination.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@weebee.in and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

12. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Rewards Program terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and WeeBee regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.
